The Annual POPLAR HALL CHRISTMAS PARADE OF HORSES & MARKET returns to Historic Chesapeake City, MD - one of the most beautiful Victorian towns in the country will be the home of a Christmas Wonderland on Sat. Dec 13th. Enjoy the parade of horses, then shop the Market of vendors offering all handmade treasures!

Sacred Space/Between the Worlds Joint Conference
The Sacred Space Conference is the premier annual esoteric conference on the East Coast for intermediate to advanced practitioners. Featured teachers offer a wide variety of workshops and rituals. The Between The Worlds Conference serves a similar audience but is offered at particular intervals aligned with specific astrological events. A host of specially juried vendors will offer a wide range of goods and services for attendees.

Fair Hill Holiday Art Loop
A group of artists in the Fair Hill area of Elkton, MD are banding together for an Art Loop in the artist’s homes and studios. A list of participating artists and their location to come. How does it work? Simply choose a location to start at, visit the artists there and shop with them, then move onto to the next location that suits you in any order you’d like. Make it to some or all of the locations throughout the day – whatever you choose! There will be treats and art awaiting your visit.

A delightful indoor juried art show to benefit environmental education at the Fair Hill Nature Center. I'll be sharing a booth with Patti Paulus, bookmaker and calligrapher. $5 per person admission, Food truck and refreshments available, ample parking.

Philadelphia Miniaturia, the largest miniature show on the east coast, brings artisans from around the world for a fun filled weekend of workshops, show, and sale.

Elk Creeks Apple Butter Festival
For 300 years the "Bee Hive" has been a place for the community to gather. Come celebrate its history with neighbors and friends. There will be artisans and craftsmen demonstrating and selling their work, traditional and folk music, Scottish foods, homemade apple butter and more! 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free. Look for my big green tent for lots of leather goodies!

Port Deposit Pirate Takeover
Ahoy mateys! Set yer sights on the "Port Deposit Pirate Takeover" fer a weekend filled with buccaneer escapades! Anchored in the historic town o' Port Deposit, this gatherin' promises tales and treasures fit for any sea dog. Try yer mettle in pirate games, crafty endeavors, and set off on a hunt for hidden booty. I'll be there peddlin' my leather goodies in me own pirate garb!

Workshop: Tooled Leather 1:12 Rocking Chair Panels
A joint class with artist Bill Studebaker, this class will make tooled leather panels for a 1:12 Scale Lincoln Rocking chair. Students can build the chair in Bill Studebaker's class, or purchase one from him. Space is limited! See website for details and to register.

The Market at CCARTS
Join me and fellow artist Patti Paulus at The Markets at CCArts! It features a variety of fine handmade products from local vendors, usually accompanied by a bake sale and food truck. Markets are held on the first Sunday of May, June, & October and lead up to our traditional Annual Artisans Show each November. This outdoor event has become a fantastic way to bring our community together to support local artists and connect with one another!

Tooled Leather Cuff Bracelet Inlay
No experience necessary! Choose a brass or silverplate cuff bracelet, and learn to tool a leather inlay for it. Dye it using a choice of colors. Apply the leather inlay piece to the metal bracelet, and show off your creation! All tools and supplies provided. Adults, kids age 12 and up with parent. No experience necessary! Learn to tool designs into the leather wrap, then dye it in your choice of color. Set the brass handle rivets, corset lace the wrap, and slide it onto the jar. Students will cut, bind and cover with leather two miniature volumes (1:12 scale) of Mark Catesby's "Flora and Fauna of Carolina, based on the full size volumes in the museum's collection. Workshop: Tooled Leather Bag
Spend a long weekend in the Laurel Highlands of PA at Touchstone Center for Crafts! Make this bag your own, with many colors and designs to choose from! Transfer the basic pattern onto natural undyed leather, cut out the pieces, tool custom designs, and punch stitching and hardware holes. Explore dye colors, finishes, and antiquing methods. Finish the bag with a saddle stitch, add hardware, and go home with a functional work of art. Sign up by Monday, 9/11!

Distinctive Drinkware Exhibit
A national juried exhibition that explores the idea of Distinctive Drinkware. Not just everyday mass produced consumer goods, but rather handcrafted items such as cups, shakers, cocktail spoons, bottle openers, and more. Pictured are my leather entries for the exhibit.
